Jim
Jim is the co-founder and CCO (Chief Creative Officer) of Spiel Knights. He has been playing Dungeons and Dragons since 2nd edition, and also has experience in GURPS, Mage, Vampire, Werewolf, and Pathfinder. Jim is a published author who enjoys reading George R. R. Martin, Terry Goodkind, and Brandon Sanderson.
He also is a fan of early American History and has devoured biographies of Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, George Washington, Ulysses S. Grant, and Abraham Lincoln. Jim is excited to bring original content to Spiel Knights, to read about your campaigns and adventures, and to finally learn how to design the fantasy maps he always sees in books and games.
Todd
Todd is the founder and CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer) of Spiel Knights. He has over twenty years of roleplaying and board gaming experience. This experience included running the technical aspect of a game and hobby shop, where he wrote software for customized game orders. The members of the board game club that gathered there were the first "Spiel Knights." Now Todd is a professional programmer, and he enjoys both coding and games because they present challenges, express compelling ideas, and—when designed well—weave great stories.
Todd’s other hobby is woodturning, which is the art of taking a block of wood and using a lathe to transform it. He has created vases, rolling pins, spinning tops, whistles, even magic wands. Todd is excited to bring you a dynamic Spiel Knights website and multiple products, both digital and physical, for your gaming enjoyment.
